This study aimed: (1) To find out the history of the Bobotsari Market, (2) To determine the social and cultural economic conditions of the Bobotsari people in 1980-2016, (3) to determine the effects of the existence of Bobotsari Market on the economic, social and cultural activities tp Bobotsari people in 1980-2016. The historical method was used to examine the problems in this study including four stages, namely heuristic or looking for authentic traces of the past to be used as material for writing history, source criticism that is obtaining valid data by selecting collected data, interpreting the facts which is collected so that it becomes a series in sense and historiography in logical arrangement and explains what is understood. Observation, interviews and literature study techniques were used to collect the data.The social relations of the Bobotsari people have run well. Social relations between residents are shown when someone among those people dies.
