This research is entitled The Analysis of Misspelling in Outward Letters Issued by the Office Of Karangduwur Village, Ayah Sub-district, Kebumen Regency, in 2017. It aimed to describe the misspelling found in the outward letters issued by Karangduwur Village office in 2017. This was a qualitative descriptive research. The data used in this research were the outward letters issued by the official of Karngduwur Village, Ayah Sub-district, Kebumen Regency, in 2017, totaling 39 letters. There were three stages in this research: data provision, data analysis, and presentation of the analysis result. The research result indicated that there were several misspelling in the outward letters. The first was the mistakes in using alphabets including capital, italic, and bold letters. The second was the errors in writing words including word combinations, prepositions, abbreviations, acronyms, and numbers. The third was the errors in using punctuation marks which included full stops, sommas, hyphens, and ellipsis.
