Cilacap Regency is the largest area in Central Java, with an area of
225,360,840 Ha, and is divided into 24 districts and 269 villages. The 24 subdistricts
include Adipala, Bantarsari, Binangun, Central Cilacap, South Cilacap,
North Cilacap, Cimanggu, Cipari, Dayeuhluhur, Gandrungmangu, Orange Legi,
Kampung Laut, Karang Pucung, Kawunganten, Kadungreja, Kesugihan, Kroya,
Majenang, Maos, Maos, Karang Nusawungu, Patimuan, Sampang, Sidareja and
Wanareja. The crime reporting process that the public encountered still uses a
manual process that is by approaching the police station that is close to the
incident. Some of the problems that often occur are people who are reluctant to
report crimes they encounter due to long distances and require a long time.
Therefore it is necessary to design and build android-based crime reporting
applications to minimize existing problems. The type of research is system
development. The development of the system used is the development of a
waterfall. This research produces an android-based reporting system that can be
accessed online so that reporters and police officers can easily report or handle
cases that occur in Cilacap Regency.
