This research focuses on how social conflict appears in Easy A movie. This movie was chosen because there are contains the issues that occur in society: social conflict that represented American thinking about virginity issue. This paper is aimed to know how social conflict is seen in the movie and how it represented American thinking about virginity issue. The data used are captured pictures from the movie and also athe transated text in each picture. The data are analyzed by using Conflict Theory by Lewis A.Coser and discussed through a Mimetic Approach by M.H Abrams. From the research that has been done, it is found that social conflicts that occur in Easy A movie represents American thinking about virginity issue. From the data, it seen that there are still American societies who want to preserve preserving virginity in order to maintain the norms of life and existing religious rules.
