Covid-19 or known by the public as the corona virus is a virus that attacks the respiratory system. The existence of this virus has a negative impact on society in all aspects of life. zakat management organizations in Banyumas district have an important role in overcoming the impact of the Covid-19 virus. zakat management organizations in Banyumas Regency involved, that is BAZNAS and LAZISMU, Banyumas Regency.
This study aims to determine the role and programs of zakat management organizations in Banyumas Regency in handling Covid-19. This research uses qualitatif research. data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is deductive analysis.
based on research results, the role of BAZNAS and LAZISMU of Banyumas Regency in handling Covid-19. namely prospering and stabilizing the economy of the affected community through programs in the social, economic, health education and preaching. From the results of the analysis, the programs were running effectively, on target, and received a positive response from the beneficiary communities
