This study aims to determine the role of Civics learning in increasing the love for the country of students at SMP Negeri 2 Warureja. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects studied were students, PPKn teachers, and BK teachers. Data analysis techniques that researchers use are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The aims of this study are 1) To analyze efforts to increase love for the homeland through PPKn learning 2) To analyze obstacles in PPKn learning to increase love for the homeland 3) To analyze solutions to obstacles in PPKn learning to increase students' love for the homeland. Based on the results of the study, increasing the love for the homeland of students at SMP Negeri 2 Warureja, Civics Education teachers in learning always relate the material presented with the love for the country as outlined in activities in learning and outside learning Pancasila and citizenship education. Obstacles in increasing love for the homeland occur due to lack of awareness of students, environmental factors and technological factors. The solution is to always provide motivation and evaluation in the learning process
