Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the face-to-face learning system has been
replaced by a distance learning system (PJJ). This research is a qualitative
research that aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of distance
learning (PJJ) in the Belik District Elementary School. The purpose of this study
was to determine the problems of PJJ in the Belik District Elementary School and
to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of PJJ. Informants of this
research include: principals of elementary schools, classroom teachers and parents
of students. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and
documentation. . The results showed that the problem of PJJ in elementary
schools in Belik sub-district showed: 1) the availability of equipment; 2) funding;
3) mastery of information technology; 4) signal/network; and parental assistance.
Supporting factors for PJJ include: 1) limited availability of equipment; 2)
learning can be done anytime and anywhere: 3) independent study; and 4) does
not require face-to-face. The inhibiting factors include: 1) geographical location;
2) mastery of IT information is still lacking, and 3) parental assistance is still
lacking.
