This research aimed to find out the geographic condition in Wagirpamdan village
towards the society's quality of education and also to find out the development of
education and its problems. This was a historical research with the object of
Wagirpandan Village, Rowokele Sub-district, Kebumen Regency. The data were
collected using observation by coming to the location of research, interview by
looking for related information, and documentation. The data were analyzed by
giving meanings toward the data obtained to be then taken a conclusion. The
results showed that: the education in Wagirpandan village in 2003-2017 had
development on its education supporting facilities such as school building,
library, or the supporting facilities to get to the school. In the sector of academic
and non-academic, the education in this village also developed. It could be seen
from the academic sector by the rank of its graduates which was on 10th position
in the region and a better non-academic that could be seen from the amount of
trophies that the students had won from competitions. The society had not
understood the importance of education and now it is getting better because they
started to realize about the issue. The results were expected to be used for the
development of education in Wargirpandan village.
