Median Filter is a method that aims to smooth and reduce noise when
shooting directly on a smartphone camera. Noise is the perception caused by the
value of the camera sensor sensitivity scale or the so-called ISO (International
Organization for Standardization) which is too large, causing dots or spots in the
resulting image. The process carried out to reduce noise when shooting is by
directly adjusting the scale value on the camera menu. By applying the median
filter method on a smartphone camera, the higher the scale point value used to
adjust the image, the lower the noise in the image. So it can be concluded that
applying the median filter method to smartphone camera effects is good, and this
method can be used especially in photography so that when taking pictures it can
produce good effects and image results.
