In this study, researchers used the theory of dialectology, the researchers
aimed to describe phonological differences in the Cirebon dialect in Losari
Subdistrict with Brebes Dialect in Tanjung Subdistrict, describing morphological
differences in the Cirebon dialect in Losari District with Brebes Dialect in Tanjung
Subdistrict, then describing semantic differences in Cirebon dialect in Losari District
with Brebes Dialect in Tanjung District. This type of research is qualitative
descriptive. The data in this study are vocabulary in the Cirebon dialect in Losari
District with the Brebes dialect in Tanjung District. Sources of data in this study were
informants who had been interviewed, namely 3 informants from the Cirebon dialect
in Losari District and 3 infornants from the Brebes dialect in Tanjung District. This
informant included 2 women and 1 male in each Subdistrict who conducted the
interview. The data collection technique in this study was to use the record and record
techniques. Then in analyzing the data the researcher used another langue method.
Next, the Determine Sorting (PUP) technique is used. Presentation of the results of
the analysis using informal methods. Based on the analysis of the differences in
Javanese in the Cirebon dialect with the Brebes dialect, it can be concluded: there are
phonological differences that are characterized by phoneme addition, phoneme
removal, and phonological variations, there are morphological differences which are
characterized by affixation and reduplication, while this semantic difference is
characterized by synonymy and homonymy.
