Abstract
The conditions for the development of the Mrica sedimentation reservoir continued
to increase. It is estimated that every year around 4 Million m3 of incoming sediment
inundates the reservoir. It has an inundation area of 8.258 Million m2 on the
reservoir water level 231 meters above sea level with a current capacity 22.544
Million m2. Flushing as mentioned in the tittle is one of the method to solve mrica
dam’s siltation. This research objective was tou found the effect of flushing toward
the decreasing of water volume and sediment. Analysis reseult shown that several
volume of sediment which wasted after flushing were done from 2009-2018, and
the prediction for the next ten years from 2009 to 2028 are 29.986 Million m3 and
the wasted water volume after flushing were done from 2009 to 2018 and the
prediction result for the next ten years from 2019 to 2028 are 971.871 Million m3.
