This study aims to examine the effect of sharia supervisory board
characteristics, intellectual capital, and temporary syirkah funds on the
performance of sharia maqashid. The sample in this study was a Sharia
Commercial Bank in Indonesia registered with the Financial Services Authority
(OJK) for the 2014-2018 period. The data collection method used purposive
sampling and obtained 50 observation samples. The analytical method used
multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the
characteristics of the Sharia Supervisory Board has a positive effect on the
performance of Maqashid Syariah, (2) Intellectual Capital has not effect the
performance of the Maqashid Syariah, (3) the Temporary Syirkah Fund has a
positive effect on the performance of the Maqashid Syariah. The implication of
the results of this study was the company should focus on the variable
characteristics of the Sharia Supervisory Board and the Temporary Syirkah Fund
to improve the performance of the Maqashid Syariah.
