Abstract

This research aimed to know the students` perception on English song for vocabulary enrichment. This research used a survey research method which was using two instruments. There were questionnaire and interview. The respondents were 25 students from 111 population to get the questionnaire and five students as the interviewee in the 2nd semester of English Education Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Based on the research finding, the result showed that 79% which showing a high level, it means that the students had positive perception that English song could enrich their vocabulary. Besides, the interview result supported the questionnaire which shows that most of the respondents agreed that the song gave benefit to the aspect of vocabularies.
