This study aims to examine the effect of personality, social values, and
labor market considerations on the career choice of accounting students as
auditors at universities in Purwokerto. The population is accounting students at
Higher Education in Purwokerto. The sampling method in this study uses simple
random sampling with the criteria of accounting students who have taken auditing
courses. Analysis using multiple linear regression with a significant level (α) 0.05.
A sample of 85 people. This study shows that personality and labor market
considerations have a positive effect on the career choice of accounting students
as auditors. Social values do not have a positive effect on the career choice of
accounting students as auditors.
