This research was aimed at revealing the teachers’ perception about the use
of digital storytelling for the study. This is a descriptive survey. To get the data I
used two instruments: questionnaire and interview to six English teachers. The
result of the questionnaire showed that the teacher had a positive perception
toward the use Digital Storytelling. Whereas from the interview the reswult
showed that they implemented Digital Storytelling although they find some
difficulties due lack of time, resource and technical condition. In addition, they
said, all students were able to understand what the teachers explained using
Digital Storytelling. The last, they feel comfortable using Digital Storytelling in
teaching learning process especially in narrative text.
