Abstract
This research is entitled "Efforts to Improve the ability of early childhood oral language through show methods and tell at Pertiwi Kindergarten 01 Cingebul Semester 1 Academic Year 2018-1919. The purpose of this study was to prove that through show and tell activities for children in Pertiwi Kindergarten 01 Cingebul, Lumbir Subdistrict, Banyumas District, 2018/2019 Academic Year, can improve children's oral language skills.
This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles with each cycle consisting of three meetings. Problem solving steps consist of four stages of activities, namely 1) Planning 2) Implementation 3) Observation 4) Reflection. The research data was obtained by direct observation and documentation method towards the research subjects, namely Pertiwi Kindergarten 01 Cingebul, Lumbir Subdistrict, Banyumas District, 2018/2019 Academic Year as many as 10 children. Furthermore, the data were analyzed in stages using a qualitative descriptive analysis of the percentage and an analysis of the learning completeness of students in the initial study, cycle I and cycle II.
Research results show that show and tell activities can improve children's oral language skills at Pertiwi Kindergarten 01 Cingebul, Lumbir Subdistrict, Banyumas District in the odd semester of 2018/2019 academic year. In the first cycle the ability of undeveloped children (BB) did not exist (0%), began to develop (MB) none (0%), developed according to expectations (BSH) of 6 children (60%), and developed very well (BSB) 4 children (40%). In the second cycle that has not been developed (BB) there is no (0%), there is no developing (0%), developing according to expectations do not exist (0%), and very well developed (BSB) as many as 10 children (100%) with In other words, an increase from the initial study, cycle I and cycle II experienced an increase in habitual consumption of balanced nutrition in children as many as 13 children (100%).
