This study aims to determine the quality of the grains Problem Exam
Indonesian Language SMA Negeri 3 Banjar Academic Year 2016/2017. This
research is quantitative descriptive. About The Exam Indonesian Language SMA
Negeri 3 Banjar consists of 40 items of multiple choice questions. The problem is
analyzed based on validity, reliability, distinguishing power, and difficulty level,
as well as effectiveness of outsiders.
Subjects in this study were students class XII SMA Negeri 3 Banjar
academic year of 2016/2017. Technique of collecting data using documentation
method. The data is analyzed using the Excel program with the help of formulas
already available in the program.
The results of this study indicate that; (1) The level of validity of high
school exam items as much as 33 items (82,5 %) meet the criteria (valid), while
those who do not meet the criteria of 7 items or 17,5 %; 2) The level of reliability,
fulfilled because r arithmetic (rh) is greater than r table (rt), that is rh = 0.795 is Rr
0, 279; 3) The level of difficulty, there are 31 items or 77,5 % that meet the
criteria or eligible and 9 items or 22,5 % did not meet the criteria or not feasible;
4) Different power level, there are 32 (80 %) items that meet the criteria or
eligible and there are 8 (20 %) items that do not meet criteria or eligible; 5)
Itching points, as many as 27 items or 67,5 % of the clever points are functioning
properly and there are 13 items or 32,5 % of the points needed to be revised.
