This research is entitled Plot Deviation of a Movie Entitled 99 Cahaya di
Langit Eropa to a Novel Entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa Written By Hanum
Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. This research aims to describe the plot of
a novel and a movie entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa. This research also aims to
describe the deviation of movie plot entitled is the novel and movie plot entitled 99
Cahaya di Langit Eropa. Object of this research is the novel and movie plot entitled
99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa. The data source for this research are the texts which
contain plot on the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa and dialogue which contain plot
on movie entitiled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa. The data source for this research is the
novel and movie entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa.
The research approach used in this research was structural and inter-textual.
Structural approach sees a literature work as an independent figure that enable a
component which will be analyzed can be separated from the things comes from the
outside. Inter-textual approach enables to determinate the difference and similarity
from the aspect which is studied. The method used in this research was descriptive
analysis where the researcher describe or gave an ilustration about plot deviation
which presented in the movie entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa and also gave an
explanation about deviation in the movie entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa in
written form.
Result of the research is (1) plot of the novel entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit
Eropa which develops in three phases, they are; starting phase, middle phase, and
final phase. The plot of movie entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa develops in three
phase, they are; starting phase, middle phase, and closing phase. (2) The plot deviation
of movie entitled 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa is in the form of contaction, plot
increasing, and the change are varied on the plot.
