The purpose of this research are analysis effect of corporate governance,
leverage and size of firm toperformance firms listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII)
at 2006-2011. Variable in test consist of institutional proprietary, managerial
proprietary, board of independent commissioner, board of management, leverage,
size of firm and ROA.
The purposive sampling method as used in this research and 180firms a
selected. Multiple regression analysis model with degree 95% and descriptive
statistic used to analysis. The result shows mechanism of corporate governance
simultaneously had an effect with ROA as α = 0,000 then for partially had an
effect with ROA only institutional proprietary, management, board of
management, leverage and size of firm as α=0,130. For variable, board of
independent commissioner shows partially result had no effect to ROA.
