This research was aimed to reveal 1) the development o Dolalak dance in
Jlamprang Village and 3) community role in Preserving Dolalak dance.
This research used heuristic method as the first step in historical method to
gather information related to the discussed subject; 2) criticism source to study the'
authenticity and credibility of obtained sources and 3) analysis interpretation to
verified data source by classifying data source under certain themes; 4)
historiography presented this report from the beginning to end covering the
discussed problems.
The result was 1) through media, Dolalak dance could be introduced to the
people of Wonosobo as an attempt to develop, guide, and improve traditional
arts; 2) people of Wonosobo who are part of Cental Java community had contribute
one of the potential arts to enforce and expand the horizon of arts; 3) the people of
Wonosobo felt that they were stimulated and supported to preserve and maintain
Dolalak dance to live and improve overtime.
