Abstract

This research was aimed at analyzing both partially and simultaneously : 1)
work discipline towards the performance of employees, 2) intrinsic motivation
towards the performance of employees, 3) extrinsic motivation towards the
performance of employees, 4) career development towards the performance of
employees, 5) compensation towards the performance of employees, 6) work
discipline, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, career development, and compensation
towards the performance of employees. The design of this research was survey.
This research took place in Bank BRI Branch Office Purwokerto. There were
120 employees as respondents getting involved in this research. To test the
hypothesis, multiple linear regression was used. From the result of the research, it
was know that 1) work discipline had significant effect towards the performance of
employee, 2) intrinsic motivation had no significant effect towards the performance of
employee, 3) extrinsic motivation had no significant effect towards the performance of
employee, 4) career development had no effect towards the performance of employee,
5) compensation had significant effect towards the performance of employee, 6) work
discipline, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, career development and compensation
had significant effect towards the performance of employee.
