Abstract

This research is aimed at determining how much the effect of reward, transactional leadership, and organizational culture toward employees’ work satisfaction in the subsector of plywood in PT. WanaMakmur Sejahtera (WMS) was, partially and simultaneously. The method used to take the samples was simple random sampling. It is a probability sampling type in which there was the same chance for each population to be decided as the sample. The analytical method used in this research was multiple linier regression tests.
The result showed that the reward effected significantly towards employees’ work satisfaction. Transactional leadership effected significantly towards employees’ work satisfaction. Organizational culture effected significantly towards employees’ work satisfaction. Reward, transactional leadership, and organizational culture effected simultaneously toward employees’ work satisfaction.
It can be summed up that reward, transactional leadership, and organizational culture give positive effect both partially and simultaneously toward employees’ work satisfaction in PT. WanaMakmur Sejahtera (WMS). It is recommended that the company should improve the employees’ work satisfaction by increasing their salary or bonus, giving good model, and providing good facility for them.
