Abstract
The aim of the research was to find out the English teachers’ perceptions on the implementation of 2013 Curriculum at senior high schools in Purbalingga subdistrict. The participants of this research were the English teachers of SMAN 1 Purbalingga, SMA N 2 Purbalingga, SMA 1 Muhammadiyah Purbalinggga, and SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Purbalingga. This research used descriptive methodology because it depicted the problems of English teachers’ perceptions on the implementation of 2013 Curriculum at senior high schools. Based on the questionnaire result, it revealed that most teachers positively agreed on the implementation of 2013 Curriculum. It was showed at the result in the first indicator (the basic concept of 2013 Curriculum), that 31 % teachers strongly agreed, 39 % teachers agreed, 18 % teachers disagreed, and 12 % strongly disagreed.This indicator showed that 70% the English teachers had high level of the basic concept of 2013 Curriculum.The second indicator was the learning process of 2013 Curriculum. It was 22 % teachers strongly agreed, 57 % teachers agreed, 17 % disagreed, and 4 % teachers disagreed. The result showed that 79% the English teachers had very high level of the learning process.The last indicator was the assessment system in 2013 Curriculum. The answers revealed that 41 % teachers strongly agreed, 37 % teachers agreed, 16 % teachers disagreed, and 6 % strongly disagreed. This indicator showed that 78% the English teachers had very high level of the assessment system in 2013 Curriculum.
