Abstract

This study develops the traditional engklek (Hopscotch) game into an instructional media tool while assessing its reasibility as a learning medium. The research aims to create and enhance traditional engklek game-based learning media for the topic "My Country Indonesia" in 4th-grade elementary schools, supporting the teaching process and assisting educators in delivering learning materials. The research population includes 4th-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kendaga for the 20242025 academic year. The study was conducted in the 4th-grade class of SD N 2 Kendaga for the topic "My Country Indonesia" in Civic Education subject. This research employs a development methodology (Research and Development) using the ADDIE framework, which includes: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and ( 5) Evaluation. Data collection techniques include observatio , interviews, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that the Engklek Game-Based Learning Media for the topic "My Country Indonesia" in 4th-grade elementary school builds on a prior traditional engklek game, redesigned with modified gameplay. The feasibility assessment results include (1) Evaluation by media experts: 93.50% (Highly Feasible for testing), (2) Evaluation by subject matter experts: 90.50% (Highly Feasible for testing), (3) Evaluation by 4th-grade teachers: 91.00% (Highly Feasible for use), and (4) Trial subjects' feedback: 55.78% (Feasible for use). The effectiveness of the learning media was assessed using Normality Tests, Homogeneity Tests, and T-tests. It can be cencluded that The Engklek Game-Based Learning Media for the topic "My Country Indonesia" in 4th-grade elementary school is highly feasible for use in the learning process and demonstrates an improvement in student learning outcomes in Civic Education
