PDAM is a government-owned enterprise that provides water to the public within a specific region. PDAM has implemented changes to water tariffs as part of efforts to improve service quality and achieve the sustainability of the water supply system. The village of Kuta is one of the areas that relies on the local PDAM to meet its water needs. Therefore, this study aims to analyze whether the changes in PDAM tariffs affect customer consumption patterns in the village of Kuta. The objectives of this study are (1) to identify the factors influencing the water consumption patterns of PDAM customers in the village of Kuta, (2) to determine the relationship between changes in PDAM water tariffs and customer consumption patterns in the village of Kuta, and (3) to assess the impact of PDAM water tariff policies on the consumption patterns of PDAM customers in the village of Kuta. This study employs a combination of quantitative and qualitative research with a survey approach. The results of the study indicate that (1) there are factors influencing consumption patterns among customers in the village of Kuta, including the policy of PDAM tariff increases, (2) there is a strong relationship between the variable of PDAM tariff changes and the variable of consumption patterns, with a correlation value of 0.762, indicating that increases or decreases in PDAM tariffs affect customer consumption patterns in the village of Kuta, and (3) there is an impact of the PDAM tariff increase policy on consumption patterns in the village of Kuta, where despite high tariffs, the community still has to meet their basic needs, demonstrating their adjustment limits.
