The problem of poverty is not a new problem in the history of human
civilization. Poverty itself has become one of the social ills in Indonesia and has
become a government program to alleviate it. Social humanitarian programs
involving zakat aim to help reduce poverty, alleviate suffering, and improve the
welfare of underprivileged communities. The purpose of this study is to determine
the strategy and effectiveness as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the
distribution of ZIS funds through social humanitarian programs in LAZISMU,
Banyumas Regency.
This research uses a type of field research, the approach to this research uses
descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study are
interviews, observation, and documentation. The subject of his research was
LAZISMU, Banyumas Regency. The data analysis technique used in this study is
an Inductive technique, namely by finding and compiling information
systematically from the results of interviews, field notes and documentation and
other materials so that it can be better understood and the results can be
communicated to the wider community.
The results of this study show that: 1) The strategy of distributing ZIS funds
by LAZISMU Banyumas begins with carrying out the stages of strategy
formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation that adapts to
LAZISMU's trustful, professional, and transparent work culture, as well as
responsible leadership in directing and influencing employees to work in
accordance with their duties so as to make the human resource management system
right on Strategy implementation. 2) The effectiveness of humanitarian social
programs at LAZISMU Banyumas can be concluded to be effective. Because the
measurement of effectiveness is in accordance with several stages, namely target
accuracy, program socialization, program objectives, and program monitoring as a
measurement of program effectiveness. 3) Supporting factors include the existence
of a solid team, cooperation with various parties, and participation from the
community. While the inhibiting factors include unpreparedness of funds, Miss
coordination, and terrain that is difficult to travel.
