This research discusses the elements that make up a song. Just like poetry,
songs can also be studied in relation to the structures that build them, namely
physical structure and inner structure. The aim of this research is to describe the
analytical structure of data in the form of song lyrics in the album "Nalar" by the
Fourtwnty group band. With the research method used, namely a qualitative
method with a content analysis approach, data was found showing that the lyrics
of this album use poetic diction and language style, but are easy to understand
and are dominated by emotional images. The diction in these songs also uses a lot
of certain interesting words to convey the message more clearly. The inner
structures discovered reveal themes such as relationship dynamics, life's
suffering, and psychological problems, conveying an atmosphere of
disappointment, confusion, and near despair. The message conveyed is the
importance of accepting changes in relationships while still respecting your
partner and prioritizing self-esteem. The research concluded that the lyrics in the
album "Nalar" not only have aesthetic value, but also contain deep messages that
are relevant to life.
