Abstract
This research aimed to find out students' perception in terms of how peer feedback
can impact students in the writing class. 53 sixth semester students of English
Department in one of the private universities in Purwokerto were the participants
of this research. Quantitative descriptive was used as a method of this research.
Closed-Ended Questionnaire is used in this research and 5 Likert Scales are
involved to measure the students’ perception. The overall percentage result of this
research is 71.3% showing that students have a positive perception of peer
feedback in writing class. Students gain several advantages from doing peer
feedback such as peer feedback motivates students to revise their writing, peer
feedback develops students’ critical thinking skill, collaborative learning, and
interaction skill. However, students still face the challenge when doing peer
feedback in writing class, sometimes students feel difficult to understand feedback
from their peers.
