Abstract
BTQ learning at MAN 2 Banyumas is a special learning for students who are not fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an. Students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an at MAN 2 Banyumas there are still some students who are not yet fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an. This research aims to determine BTQ learning at MAN 2 Banyumas, the ability to read the Al-Qur'an at MAN 2 Banyumas students, the teacher's efforts to improve the ability to read the Al-Qur'an through BTQ learning at MAN 2 Banyumas students.
This research is a type of field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were the head of the curriculum, BTQ supervisor, BTQ supervisor and MAN 2 Banyumas students who took part in BTQ learning. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
The research results show that BTQ learning at MAN 2 Banyumas is carried out every day except Fridays at 07.00-07.30 WIB. Supporting factors for BTQ learning are the availability of sufficient supervising teachers, special time allocation for BTQ learning and the provision of tilawati books from BOS funds. The inhibiting factor is that many students play with cellphones during BTQ learning and students' undisciplined behavior. There are still some students who are not fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an and there are some students who are already fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an. The teacher's efforts to improve the ability to read the Al-Qur'an through BTQ learning are: 1) The teacher evaluates students who are still lacking in reading the Al-Qur'an by selecting or testing Al-Qur'an reading at the beginning of the school year. 2) Create groups for students who do not pass the selection and at the same time determine their accompanying teachers. 3) Make a schedule for the BTQ learning process, along with the time and place according to the accompanying teacher.
