Abstract
This research aims to analyze the local potential of Sokaraja fried getuk craftsmen as a source of Prakaarya and Entrepreneurship learning at Sokaraja Muhammadiyah High School and its implementation and impact. This type of research uses a qualitative approach which is more concerned with holistic understanding, while this type of research is based on the phenomenological method which takes into account the depth of the research target in understanding approaches to certain socio-cultural environments. The subjects of this research were Sokaraja fried getuk craftsmen, school principals, PKWU teachers, and students. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results of the research show that: 1) Muhammadiyah Sokaraja High School students are very enthusiastic about participating in PKWU learning which originates from Sokaraja fried getuk craftsmen because: a. can learn directly from experts and business people, b. gain a deep understanding of the world of work and entrepreneurship, c. develop craft skills, such as food processing and creativity, d. learn about important values such as persistence, tenacity, and local wisdom, strengthening their cultural identity, namely students learn about history, traditions, and cultural values contained in the business of making fried getuk. 2) The results of the learning implementation are that students can make Sokaraja fried getuk, creatively design logos, are inspired to become entrepreneurs, and can market their products through social media. 3) The impact of this learning is to form a young generation who is creative, innovative and entrepreneurial. the program also strengthens ties between schools and local communities.
