Psychological impact strongly affects an individual's mental state from a particular event or problem. Divorced housewives often face significant pressure from those around them, leading to various psychological issues that can disrupt their daily activities. This study aims to understand the psychological impact on divorced housewives. The research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data were collected through interviews, and credibility was ensured using triangulation. The study utilized Moustakas' phenomenological data analysis method. The respondents were three primary participants, identified as MR, ML, and EV, all of whom are divorced housewives. The results indicated that all three participants experienced psychological impacts after their divorces to the extent that they required sedatives. The findings highlight the need for support from others to help alleviate the responsibilities and pressures borne by divorced housewives, which in turn could reduce the psychological impact of the divorce.
