Abstract

Learning is all activities carried out by someone with the aim of helping other people's learning process. Tahsin is an Arabic term meaning repair, increase, or enrich. The Qur'an linguistically comes from the word qara'a yaqra'u which means reading, a collection of letters and words arranged in a certain order. The Wafa method is defined as comprehensive planning that is based on a certain approach, uses orderly language, does not have conflicting parts. The aim of this research is to obtain information and insight and find out the implementation of the Wafa method in learning tahsin al-Qur'an at SMP IT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto, and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Wafa method in learning tahsin al-Qur'an at SMP IT Harapan Mother of Purwokerto.
This research is field research using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. Data analysis uses primary and secondary data from interviews, where the data collected will be analyzed qualitatively using descriptive methods, namely by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
This research shows that the implementation of the Wafa method in learning Al-Qur'an tahsin is that the Al-Qur'an tahsin teacher uses the Wafa method before starting learning, always plays murotal every day so that students get used to learning hijaz tones, then reading prayers using hijaz tone to practice the tone, as well as produce students who have the ability to read the Koran well and correctly. The methods that are often used in learning tahsin al-Qur'an using the Wafa method are the lecture method, question and answer method, and discussion method, these have been proven to be very effective. Al-Qur'an tahsin teachers carry out strategies in understanding the Wafa method of tahsin al-Qur'an learning at SMPIT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto, namely by conducting teaching, interactive and fun approaches, as well as improving teacher skills. There are advantages and disadvantages faced in understanding Al-Qur'an tahsin learning at SMPIT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto. Advantage factors are: yourself, friends, teachers and parents. The disadvantage factors are: self, family and environment.
