This research aims to identify the methods of gross motor changes in children
through outdoor activities at PAUD (Early Childhood Education) Pelangi Suka
Cita 03, Raam Island - Sorong City. The research method employed is Classroom
Action Research (CAR), utilizing observation and documentation as data
collection tools. The results of the study concluded that gross motor skills were
successfully enhanced in early childhood at the kindergarten. Initially, four
children exhibited undeveloped skills, which decreased to 0 after Cycle 1 and
remained at 0 after Cycle 2. Additionally, three children initially began
developing, increasing to seven after Cycle 1 but decreasing to 0 after Cycle 2.
Furthermore, five children initially developed as expected, remaining five
children after Cycle 1 and increasing to nine after Cycle 2. Finally, three children
developed very well, remaining three children after Cycle 1 and rising to 6 after
Cycle 2.
