This research aims to improve the gross motor skills of children in class A at KB Nurul Huda Cimanggu, Cilacap Regency by playing throw and catch. This research was conducted because there were problems in improving gross motor skills in class A at KB Nurul Huda Cimanggu, Cilacap Regency. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The subjects studied were 13 Class A children in the Nurul Huda Cimanggu play group (KB). The data collection techniques in this research were observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in gross motor skills in children in class A at KB Nurul Huda Cimanggu, Cilacap Regency. Improvement can be seen from the observations that have been made. The initial percentage of ability was 38%, which was included in the starting to develop (MB) category, whereas after learning using the game of throwing and catching the ball it became 76% and was included in the developing as expected (BSH) category. The results obtained in the research prove that playing catch and throw can improve the gross motor skills of class A children at KB Nurul Huda Cimanggu, Cilacap Regency.
