Abstract

The research aims to enhance the fine motor development of children at the playgroup. The research subjects consisted of 20 children aged 4-5 years old at Aisyiyah Qurrota Ayun Randudongkal, comprising 10 males and 10 females. This study was conducted in two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, each consisting of three meetings with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique employed by the researcher was observation, using observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis method used by the researcher was descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted collaboratively with peer observers/observers, with the researcher acting as the teacher. Based on the discussion results previously outlined, the researcher concluded that through Loose Part activities using the ATIK model, the fine motor development of 4-5-year-old children at KB Aisyiyah Qurrota Ayun Randudongkal can be enhanced, as evidenced by an increase in frequency and percentage observed from the initial condition of 20 children. Initially, only four children (20%) were able to engage in Loose Part activities in Cycle I, which increased to 10 children (50%) in Cycle II, and further increased to 17 children (85%) in Cycle II. To address the needs of the remaining three children who were unable to participate, the researcher will provide further guidance more optimally.
