This study aimed to investigate the improvement of early literacy skills through alphabet card games for children aged 4-5 years at KB Umi Maryam Botekan Ulujami, Pemalang. The methodology involved classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 18 children aged 4-5 years at KB Umi Maryam Botekan, consisting of 10 boys and eight girls. Data collection techniques included observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results indicated improved early literacy skills through alphabet card games for children aged 4-5 years at KB Umi Maryam Botekan Ulujami, Pemalang. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of early literacy skills, initially 33% developing as expected, in Cycle I increasing to 39% developing as expected and 11% developing excellently. Meanwhile, in Cycle II, it further increased to 55% developing as expected and 28% developing excellently. Thus, the total percentage of achievement of early literacy at the end of Cycle II was 83%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that alphabet card games can enhance early literacy skills for children aged 4-5 years at KB Umi Maryam Botekan Ulujami, Pemalang.
