This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' fine motor
skills through finger painting activities in the first year of TK Aisyiyah
Bustanul Athfal Sirau I. The research was conducted over two cycles, each
consisting of three sessions. The subjects of this study were the students of
the first-year grade of TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Sirau I, totaling 14
children, composed of seven boys and seven girls. Data collection methods
employed included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings
were analyzed using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The
results indicated an enhancement in the children's fine motor skills through
finger painting activities. In the initial condition, three children (21%)were
categorized as Developing as Expected. Following improvements made in
Cycle I, this number increased to six children (43%).In Cycle II, there was a
further improvement, with the number rising to thirteen children (93%).
Referencing the established success criteria, where the enhancement in
children's fine motor skills reached 93%, the interventions implemented in
Cycle II can be declared successful.
