This research aimed to improve the physical motor skills of children through
cooking activities for class B (second-year students) at TKIT (Islamic Integrated
Kindergarten) Salahudin Al Ayubi Sokaraja. This research employed a Classroom
Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted over two cycles, namely Cycle I and
Cycle II. Each cycle consisted of three meetings. The research subjects were 15
students of the kindergarten, comprising 10 boys and 5 girls. The data collection
methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis
utilized qualitative descriptive analysis. The results indicate a significant increase

improvement in the observation data collected from each cycle. Initially, 13% (two
students) met the Developing Very Well criteria before the learning intervention.
In Cycle I, the percentage of students achieving the Developing as Expected
criteria increased to 33% (five students). In Cycle II, the percentage of students
meeting the Developing Very Well criteria further increased to 53% (eight
students). This improvement demonstrates the effectiveness of the learning
intervention, as eight students (53%) of the 15 improvement demonstrates the
effectiveness of the learning intervention, as eight students (53%) of the 15
students in class B at TKIT Salahudin Al Ayubi have achieved the predetermined
success indicators.
