Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed at enhancing the creativity
of early childhood through drawing activities using the Grafito technique among
students in Group B at RA MNU Diponegoro 229 Karangbawang, Ajibarang
District, Banyumas Regency, during the second semester of the academic year
2023-2024. The subjects of this study were 18 students in Group B at RA MNU
Diponegoro 229 Karangbawang, Ajibarang District, comprising 11 females and
seven males. It was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. The
methods employed in this study included observation, interviews, and
documentation. Data analysis was performed using Qualitative Descriptive

students following engagement in drawing activities using the Grafito technique.
Initially, it was observed that the children's drawing creativity at RA MNU
Diponegoro 229 Karangbawang was monotonous. The students were too passive,
lacking creativity, resulting in low learning outcomes. At the beginning of the study,

Developing (BB) category, 12 students (67%) in the Beginning Development (MB)
category, four students (22%) in the Developing as Expected (BSH) category, and
two students (11%) showing Very Good Development (BSB). In the first cycle, there
was an improvement, with 0 students (0%) in the Not Developing (BB) category,
nine students (50%) in the Beginning Development (MB) category, six students
(33%) in the Developing as Expected (BSH) category, and three students (17%)
showing Very Good Development (BSB). In the second cycle, there was a further
improvement, with two students (11%) in the Beginning Development (MB)
category, 12 students (67%) in the Developing as Expected (BSH) category, and
four students (22%) showing Very Good Development (BSB). Consequently, a total
of 16 students (89%) fell into the categories of Developing as Expected (BSH) and
