Abstract

Collage is one of the indicators present in the realm of fine motor physical development. The
objective is to introduce and demonstrate artistry and activities employing various media.
However, in reality, at KB Belia Ria, particularly in Group A, there is a tendency to underutilize
children's fine motor skills, resulting in boredom for the children. The impact of unengaging
learning experiences leads to diminished fine motor skills. The subjects of this research are the
children of Group A, totalling 20 children. This study adopts a Classroom Action Research design
comprising 2 cycles and encompassing 4 stages: planning, implementation, observation, and
reflection. Data are collected using observation sheets and documentation. The success criteria of
this research are assessed based on the improvement of children's fine motor skills among the 20
participants. Children meeting the expected developmental milestones increased from 4 in cycle I
to 14 in cycle II. Those who were initially developing increased from 2 in cycle I to 6 in cycle II.
Meanwhile, those who were not developing decreased from 14 in cycle I to 2 in cycle II. The
enhancement of children's fine motor skills can be attributed to teachers utilizing collage
techniques with various media optimally and effectively, actively involving children throughout
the learning process.
