This research aims to describe the types of inner conflicts experienced by the main character and elucidate the factors causing inner conflicts in the novel "Bumi dan Lukanya (Remake)" by Revianaaprl. The research employs a literary psychology approach, focusing on the inner conflicts of the main character in the novel. Data collected for the study include quotations and dialogues that illustrate the types of disputes and contain factors causing inner conflicts experienced by the main character. The primary data source is the novel "Bumi dan Lukanya (Remake)" by Revianaaprl. Data collection techniques involve documentation or literature review. The data analysis technique in this research comprises three stages: data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of the study on the inner conflict of the main character in the novel "Bumi dan Lukanya (Remake)" by Revianaaprl reveal two types of inner conflicts: approach-withdrawal conflicts with five instances and withdrawal-withdrawal conflicts with three cases. Additionally, factors causing the inner conflicts experienced by the main character are identified, including early deprivation such as institutionalization and deprivation at home with nine instances, self-perception and cognitive maps with seven cases, inadequate parenting characterized by undisciplined behavior and unrealistic demands with three data, and a pathogenic family structure involving maladaptive relationships, parental efforts to maintain balance without providing affection, and a lack of mutual respect with four cases.
