Abstract

The background of this research is that there are differences in the discipline and performance of senior teachers and junior teachers in the Kridasamekta Cluster which causes the effectiveness of student learning outcomes to be less than optimal, so that the principal as manager and at the same time as a learning leader must improve his performance to erode existing differences in discipline and teacher performance. Maximum effectiveness of student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach to phenomenological studies. This research is descriptive in nature, namely the author analyzes and describes the phenomena at the research site starting from activities and events according to actual conditions. The informants in this research were 5 Principals of State Elementary Schools in the Kridasamekta Cluster, Maos District, Cilacap Regency. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation studies. Activities in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that school principals who have the competencies of Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator and Motivator can improve teacher discipline and performance, and can reduce the gap between senior teachers and junior teachers from existing sociability and individuality problems, so that all Teachers can meet the demands of the times which require them to be able to use IT in learning activities, starting from planning, implementing and evaluating learning. Moreover, there is the E Report Card application which of course is non-negotiable for teachers who must be able to master IT, because the student learning results included in the report card are accompanied by a complete description. Therefore, school principals must be higher in mastering science and technology than teachers in their schools so that their performance, both in terms of personality and exemplary, shows the authority of a school principal.
