Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine how English teachers at
Junior High School in Banyumas implement pedagogical competencies. This
research employed a descriptive quantitative approach.
Collecting data for this study involved observing teachers in the classroom
and administering a questionnaire. The data were collected from two English
teachers at Junior High School in Banyumas to determine their pedagogical
competence and how they implement it during the teaching process.
This study revealed that the average value of pedagogical competence for
two English teachers at Junior High School in Banyumas was 77.60% for Teacher
X and 78.88% for Teacher Y, both of whom were rated as good. Throughout the
entirety of the teaching and learning process, the English teachers utilized their
pedagogical skills effectively.
