The research aims to develop audiovisual learning media based on the Canva
application for biotechnology material in grade X high school. The research is a
Research and Development (RD) using the 4-D that consists of (1) define, (2) design,
(3) develop, and (4) disseminate. The method of data collection uses a questionnaire.
The instrument in the study uses an expert validation questionnaire, teacher validation
questioner, and student practicality test questioner. The obtained data is then analyzed
by calculating the total score from the questionnaire using the percentages technique.
The study results are audiovisual learning media have a highly feasible from judgment
by experts media and materials, averaging 79.22%, which falls into the highly decent
category. The judgment from the expert teacher obtains 90.00% with a very decent
category. The judgment from the student practicality gets 83.66%, also with a very
feasible category. Finally, the audiovisual learning media that was created is very
feasible.
