The principal's policy is a series of concepts that form the basis of
planning in carrying out work, leadership and ways of acting from a school or an
institution in achieving the goals set out in the vision and mission. So that this
policy has a real impact on school development towards superior schools.
The purpose of this research is to describe the principal's policies which
are carried out by the principal so that he is able to develop into a superior school
at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto.
This research uses a qualitative approach and is a type of qualitative
descriptive research. The subjects of this research are school principals, teachers
and deputy public relations assistants at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto.
Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data
analysis was carried out in the order of work: data reduction, data presentation,
and drawing conclusions.
The results of this study indicate the application of the principal's policy
to develop superior schools at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto in
collaboration with the industrial world, the business world and various
extracurricular programs. Evidenced by the more complete school facilities and
infrastructure, increased teacher competency and increased health departments.
Excellent schools always innovate and provide the best service, Muhammadiyah 3
Purwokerto Vocational School is a vocational school in Purwokerto that has the
spirit of being a reference school and is competitive in the industrial and business
world.
