background of the outhor so that this thesis discusses the development of Power
point based learning media in order to find out how to develop power point based
learning media in ISMUBA learning in class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Tegal
Regency to increase participant motivation an learning achievement studied at the
Muhammadiyah High School in Tegal Regency.
This research uses R & D conducted in two schools, namely Tarub
Muhammadiyah High School and Muhammadiyah Suradadi High School, Tegal
Regency. This research began with the initial product revisions, field trials and
final product revisions, as a result of which development is a learning product
from learning media in the form of power points.
The results of the study show that each aspect of the media assessment is in the
“Good” criteria. In addition, the increased learning motivation of students using
power point as a learning medium also has a “Good” criterion, which is shown
from the results of the learning motivation questionnaire with the “t” test formula
which shows that the amount of “t” obtained in the calculation (To = 6.578) and
the amount of “t” listed in the “t” value table (T test 5% = 2.04 and T test 1% =
2.76) can be interpreted that to is greater than t table; 2.04 < 6.578 > 2.76. Based
on the results of the research carried out, it was shown that the development of
power point-based learning media is the right media to increase student
motivation and achievement at Muhammadiyah High School, Tegal Regency.
