Abstract

This study aims to develop e-module teaching materials to improve students understanding
of fairy tale material for grade VI Elementary School. E-module development is presented
in the form of text, images, learning videos. This development is intended for class VI
students at SD Negeri 2 Kober and SD Negeri 2 Bantarsoka. This study uses the research
and development (R&D) method developed by Borg and Gall. The research phase was
designed in ten stages, namely: (1) preliminary study, (2) planning, (3) initial product
development, (4) design validation, (5) main product revision, (6) main field trial, (7)
revision operationalized product, (8) operational field test, (9) final product revision, (10)
product dissemination and implementation. The results of the study show that e-modules
are appropriate for use in learning and are effective in increasing students' understanding.
Thus, e-module teaching materials are suitable for use by Grade VI Elementary School
students.
