Abstract

The learning methods for students are not limited to traditional written
media. With the continuous advancement of technology, it can be utilized in the
field of education. Technology can facilitate educators in the teaching and
learning process, including the use of Augmented Reality (AR). The objective of
this research is to facilitate educators in introducing the solar system using digital
media. The research method employed in this study is the Model-Driven Life
Cycle (MDLC), which is an approach to software development that utilizes
modeling as the primary foundation throughout the software development life
cycle. The developed AR application serves as an interactive and engaging media
for learning about the solar system, particularly in the field of education. The
application development has its limitations and has not yet reached perfection.
The author hopes that the existing shortcomings can be further developed to
create a better technology with more attractive and modern outputs.
