This research aims to develop an interactive learning application for Android
devices using Augmented Reality (AR) technology to study the structure and
functions of plants. The case study was conducted at SMP N 1 Kembaran. The
research involved analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation phases. The
application allows students to visualize the three-dimensional structure of plants by
scanning markers using the camera on their Android devices. The application also
provides interactive explanations about the functions of plants. The development
method used in this research is the Prototyping method. Prototyping is an iterative
process in system development where requirements are transformed into a working
system that is continuously improved through collaboration between users and
analysts. After implementing the application at SMP N 1 Kembaran, data on the
application usage and student feedback were collected through observation and
questionnaires. The evaluation results showed that the application is effective in
improving students' understanding of the structure and functions of plants. This
application can serve as a reference for developing similar applications in other
schools.
