Abstract
This study aims to analyze and explain the influence of work motivation, work
discipline, compensation and work environment on the performance of village
officials in Pekuncen district, Banyumas Regency. This research is a quantitative
study using a questionnaire with a total of 165 respondents to village officials in
Pekuncen district, Banyumas Regency. The sampling technique uses the saturated
sample method. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, instrument test, classic
assumption test, data analysis test, model fit test and hypothesis test. The results
of the study show that work motivation, work discipline, compensation and work
environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee
performance. work motivation partially has a significant positive effect on
employee performance, work di scipline partially has a significant positive effect
on employee performance, compensation partially has a significant positive effect
on employee performance and work environment partially has an insignificant
positive effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the R² adjusted
determination coefficient test of 90.6%, it means that the variables of work
motivation, work discipline, compensation and work environment can explain the
performance of village officials in Pekuncen district, Banyumas Regency by
90.6% and 09.4% explained by other factors.
